Why della AWARD 2021?
The international gathering of deaf actors, producers, directors and other professional groups of film, cinema and visual media embodies the meaning of the della Award 2021.
It calls attention to the achievement professionals of the film world and gives appropriate recognition to their merits on an international stage.
The della film festival focuses in particular on the history of deaf filmmakers and actors, honouring some of them posthumously. Films entered in the competition will be judged by an international jury and honoured at the subsequent award ceremony on Saturday evening.
Of course, young film fans are warmly welcome! In addition to children’s films there will also be a della Award for young talent.
